I just bought a laptop with wireless capabilities but I have at&t for my internet provider. It is a modem that is connected into my computer. How would I get this internet onto my laptop?

Get a wireless router such as Linksys WRT54G; plug this into your dsl modem, the desktop computer into the Linksys and use wireless for your notebook.

Get a wireless router. Cost about $50+ at any major electronics retailer.
Run the routers installation CD on your desktop to get it all hooked up.
Make sure you set a password for your wirless network so no one can steal your connection.

Get a wireless router. You can buy them in lots of places, including on line. Netgear, Buffalo and Linksys are good brands. Connect it to the modem and configure it according to the instructions and you’ll have wi-fi in your house for your laptop. You can also plug the desktop into the router and get internet through Ethernet.

you can unplug your computer and plug in your laptop, or go and buy a $15 wireless router, you might also see if there is any unprotected wireless signals coming from a nearby neighbors house and bum off them until you get your own router.

dear you first need to install the software for the products you are hv purchased. Means install the software with that modem. If still it is so confusing thn you can opt. for wireless. n be tension free. And if you want to purchase it or buy it from AT&T than go there on
