Have you gone to wireless connections in the system tray (bottom right) and looked for the wireless signal. Or have you already got that?

This will depend on your laptop, I have a sony laptop and it actually has a switch on the side of it to turn on the WIRELESS feature. I sometimes bump it and it cannot connect. Make sure your wireless is turned on. There also should be software that will search for the wireless network to get on. Check to see if there is a wireless switch.

Go to control panel, then to network connections. When you find the one that applies right click it then click view available wireless networks. From there you can set up the wireless network or pick the one on the list you wish to connect to.
