Are “Green Jobs” good for the economy or “Global Warming”?Filed Under: Global Warming
Three years ago, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law some of the toughest anti-global-warming regulations in the world.

Since them the California economy is in the tank. Unemployment has almost doubled going from 4.9% before “Green Laws” went into effect to 9.3% now, businesses are either closing or moving out of state, the state is running a $40Billion deficit, while green house gases are increasing at even faster rates then before the “Green Laws” were in effect.
Should ‘Green Laws” be dismissed as dystopian ideas, or just be added slower into our laws? Or would the smarter thing to do would be to remove bad but well intention laws that cause more pollution like the CAFE standard which gave birth to the SUV market?
Now that we see what is happening in California, should President Obama give up ‘green laws’ at least until the economy gets better, or should he give them up and let the Free Market find the right solution?
