Right now I currently have dial up and i cant get wireless internet from a nearby tower because trees are blocking the signal (trees are not on our property). I always see commercials on express cards for laptops to get fast internet anywhere, like the rogers express card. Does anyone know what a good card to get is and a company to subcribe to? Or is it even worth it? I live in Canada.

Ive just installed a fresh copy of Windows Vista ultimate, and I cant figure out how to connect to the internet. It has a bluetooth device installed listed under Network Devices in the device manager. Do i have to use the bluetooth device to connect to the internet? If so, how do I do that?

1. Fast gaming and good graphics. (Are laptops good with pc gaming or should I reconsider getting a real computer? or will it overheat?)
2. Fast internet and good signals for going online. I want to be able to play stocks in the morning (Big screen but light weighted, if possible) and do my own research.
Those are the main reasons for what I want in a laptop, I may put music files and pictures but not too much. I just want to know if a laptop is as good as a computer, can it really process and hold as much space as a computer?

Ok so i have an ibm thinkpad, and it runs on windows XP, I can connect to Wifi, cuz my neighbor has it without security, but when i go to internet, it comes up saying it can’t connect to internet. If i go to Tools, then internet options, i don’t really know what to do, something about lan.

I just got a dell inspiron 600 laptop but can’t get onto the internet. I do have a wireless internet box, its a sbc. There are so many numbers at the bottom, i don’t know which one is the internet number. I also don’t know where i would type it in. It would be helpful to have step by step directions if you don’t mind.

I recently got rid of Optimum online triple play service because my bills were a little too much. I no longer have Internet, phone, or cable. ***** right? Anyway, I heard about Magic Jack and wanted to know of any inexpensive internet providers (I just want internet service) that this device would work well on. Any advice would be great.
