Have been internet marketing for three years or more-I just cannot believe all the bull that is put out there about how much they make-I still have a day job and learn honest marketing-
My question is if you make so much money -
(1) Why give your secrets away?
(2) Show me your real Stats.
(3) Is there any honesty left in this industry?
(4) I believe there are honest people to learn from-Please Advise

I had a question regarding careers in the field of marketing and advertising. Currently, I’m majoring in communications with a specialization in advertising, marketing, and public relations.

The program is very broad, as it includes a number of different courses in television production, radio production, journalism, and–of course– advertising, marketing, and public relations.

I’m really just wondering if companies would hire someone with a bachelors in communications with that specialization.

I know that I would probably be better off getting a degree that’s specific to that field, but a little more than one-third of the degree is going to be marketing & advertising, and I will still be somewhat knowledegable about television and radio production.

I am trying to ensure that my marketing combines psychology, philosophy, communications, sociology, anthropology, and a little bit of economics.

My music would include music composition and performance and various other buttons to add to the suit.

I am also trying to minor in Chinese.

As far as the job market is and where the money is would this type of fertalization prepare me for success?

I recently began a Marketing/Business course at my high school and truly, I am enjoying it quite a bit. I had originally planned to major in Journalism to well, be a Journalist. But as I learned more and more about the salary and other cons, I noticed they greatly outweighed the pros.

That has lead me to do some research in the Marketing Research field. I would love some more information of that field, but more importantly I would greatly appreciate information on Majors and other education requirments (i.e. math skills/majors, communication skills, etc.).

I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Marketing and Communications. I am going in for an interview soon with two companies and I want to know what sort of questions they would ask regarding my education. Would they ask anything specific about what I studied (ie. What are the 4 P’s of Marketing), or would it be more about my experience and where I want to go in the future? If so, I might want to brush up on a few things.

I just began working on my Associates in Marketing when I found that the school I am going to offers an Associates in Professional Communications. After I get my Associates I am going to transfer and get my Bachelors in Public Relations or Communications. My questions are 1. Should I change my major right now to Professional Communications(which has public relations classes) or stick to Marketing and 2. When I do go to get my Bachelors should I get it in Communications or Public Relations? The school I want to attend later offers a Bachelors in Communication and a Bachelors in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. I really don’t know what to do.
