I started using JRE about two years back for live data access from stock market. It was working fine no trouble ever. Recently I opened online bank account with a local bank who advised me to load MSJVM on my computer to access my account with the bank. I loaded Microsoft Java Virtual Machine on my computer and set the internet settings as advised by the bank. It did not work. After exhaustive strugle I have found that my bank program works when I disable JRE in internet settings but the stock market live data program is disabled. When I enable JRE the live data program starts working and bank program is disabled. I want both live data program and bank program to work simultainously.

So not that I’m planning on it, but I’m curious. How does someone start an online program such as Facebook or a new search engine?

Like I know its programming, but hows it done?

Even if I have a good programming knowledge, how do you go about doing it.

Do ou have any advice on setting up my own website to showcase my art? I’d like to have a very sleek design to it, something that makes you say, ‘wow, she cares about her art and her image!’

I want to start my own website and have people posting their videos but also have the possibility to build on the platform in order to add features if need be.

I’m looking mostly for sites like browserhshots, validation, etc.. where I can make sure my site looks good and functional before publishing. Thanks.

They said I couldnt do it so I did it to prove them wrong!! With no programming Knowledge JUST BOOKS. I **** WHEN THEY SAY I CAN’T DO SOMETHING!! I wrote a software program to sell. Nobody thinks I can pull it off. Because I am a simple housewife& mother. I’LL SHOW THEM! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! I am working on strategies for a while now. I havn’t launched the product because all aspects have not been covered. I am trying to put together a team together to help me. I will profit share for your time. I am investigating the possibilities of beginning my own E-Zine online business. I would need to know the tools required…ie, server, hosting, advertisements…I need lots of help in this department which will not break my wallet, etc…

Can someone point to some instructions on how to make online DNS tools? I’d like to make something similar to dnsstuff.com — not necessarily because I think I can do it better, but because I’d like to understand how a site like that would work. I think I’ll probably need to use perl. Are there any online tutorials for crafting these types of tools?
