I don’t want to buy some expensive course or some “trick” to earn millions. I’d simply like to do something, be it drop shipping, affiliate marketing or whatever on a small “Turtle and the Hare” basis to learn and grow at a reasonable and responsible pace. What would anyone suggest as a good starting point?

I’m looking to get started in the affiliate marketing business, but there are so many choices out there. I’m looking to find one that is easy to work with, but yet provides a good compensation agreement. Also, I’m asking this question to avoid the “get rich quick” schemes and scams that are prevalent online. My hope is that this business will provide an extra income as I start out, and eventually build it to replace my current income.

I’ve seen a lot sites selling ebooks and offering to mentor and help people make affiliate income over the web and some of these are from some very popular(and fairly trust worth people)that have been around a while, so is this money making affiliate stuff legit or just a pipe dream.
