Right now I currently have dial up and i cant get wireless internet from a nearby tower because trees are blocking the signal (trees are not on our property). I always see commercials on express cards for laptops to get fast internet anywhere, like the rogers express card. Does anyone know what a good card to get is and a company to subcribe to? Or is it even worth it? I live in Canada.

I am going to Korea in a few months (I’m in America), and I am planning to bring my laptop to kill the time. I was wondering though…
1) What do you need to get Internet connection on the airplane? Does the airplane provide it for you? Or do you need something else?
2) Is it possible to charge my laptop on the airplane? If not, how can I get it to last 12 hours of flight?

1. Fast gaming and good graphics. (Are laptops good with pc gaming or should I reconsider getting a real computer? or will it overheat?)
2. Fast internet and good signals for going online. I want to be able to play stocks in the morning (Big screen but light weighted, if possible) and do my own research.
Those are the main reasons for what I want in a laptop, I may put music files and pictures but not too much. I just want to know if a laptop is as good as a computer, can it really process and hold as much space as a computer?
