help!!!

I’m a senior in high school and Im interested in F.I.T. However most of the people i know who apply/attend there are majoring in the art departments of the school. I was just wondering if the advertising/marketing major and programs were any good and what do they entail?

I’ve freelanced as a marketing communications consultant on top of my day job for years, but have just recently structured as an LLC and hope to go solo someday soon. Are there any proven ways to build a client base quicker than the organic word-of-mouth method? Any good practices that can help with this?

I just began working on my Associates in Marketing when I found that the school I am going to offers an Associates in Professional Communications. After I get my Associates I am going to transfer and get my Bachelors in Public Relations or Communications. My questions are 1. Should I change my major right now to Professional Communications(which has public relations classes) or stick to Marketing and 2. When I do go to get my Bachelors should I get it in Communications or Public Relations? The school I want to attend later offers a Bachelors in Communication and a Bachelors in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. I really don’t know what to do. Also do you enjoy working in Public Relations? Thanks everyone!

Would I have an easier time finding jobs majoring in Marketing or Communications?

Phones with cameras, games and the Internet, games carrying advertising, TV on demand – interactive but with no ads, digital posters, interactive screens, sponsored online content created by kids…the world’s gone bloody digital mad.

So everything’s changing due to digital – so how will companies have to change the way they try to sell to us in the future?
