So I’m planning on buying a laptop for college this fall, but my parents told me there is a tax free weekend going on here in North Carolina soon. So I was wondering if I could buy my laptop online and still have it tax free?
Ok guys, I see what your saying, but hp doesn’t technically have its own store here, and I’m not sure if the site is even based here. Anyways, does the federal sales tax still apply?

My parents are getting my a laptop for Christmas so I can type my homework and the novel i’n writing in my room. They don’t want it to have internet, because they’re afraid that i’ll be in my room constantly. What programs can be used w/o an internet connection? For example, I know iTunes needs a connection to the internet.
Also, what can I do to convince my parents to get me the internet?

I have written a book about football pass receiving, aimed at junior and senior high school students. The book teaches techniques and skills that will improve the success of any pass reciever. It would be useful for players, coaches and parents who want to help their child improve his skills. The book is currently available on eBay, but I feel that there is a better market . It is available on cd and also downloadable. I would like to find an online market for my book through advertising or consignment. Any suggestions?

I’m currently transferring out of a community college after this year, and I have a 3.8 GPA.
I couldn’t pay for college otherwise before, but now all I need to do is choose which colleges are best for me and my major. Right now I’m not looking at a specific price, but I’m considering both private and state schools. I live in the NE near Philly, and I want to stay around that general area, but I would go to like Syracuse in NY or somewhere in Boston. Any suggestions and tips on getting in?? Neither of my parents have gone to college so I’m a little in the dark
